My K 28/3.5 just arrived!! I am pretty pumped!

Took a couple test shots, which i haven't seen on a computer screen yet but all i can say is that 28mm is an awesome focal length on the small sensor.
Next time i come here i will post some pictures!

Hi all,

Anyone have the K 105? Iíve heard really good things about this one.

Cheers

Tom G
I have the 105 - impressively sharp, even at 2.8 (more so than my M135 wide open). It's a nice size - in fact I often confuse it with the M135 when I'm in a rush. It has a rather fierce bokeh if there are too many highlights. But I like the lens a lot.

The only shot I can quickly find is this HDB shot ...

K 28/3.5

This is my test shot with this lens.
Wide open 1/13sec hand held (thanks SR)

I walked around this afternoon and took some other pictures, i will post them later.
I am already in love and i feel like this one is going to be a very good walk around lens for daylight.

The built is incredible and the focusing ring is incredibly smooth. Just pure pleasure!

sounds home

Just find out the thread and feel like home. Given I had a lot of Ks (will list it below), I should spend more time using them, a lot more time. I will post photos later when I get new ones.

I have

k18
k17x2
k20
k24
k28/2
k30
k35/2
k50/1.4
k85
k120

I am looking for k15, k50/1.2,k105,k135/2.5,k200/2.5 to complete my collection. the priority is on k105 as it's not too easy to come by and I don't have anything around 100mm. k28/3.5, k35/3.5 might also interests me. Does anybody have experience with those two underdog? I am not too sure any good 100mm in Ks??? Comments on 100mm K lens?

I have had the k28/3.5 for three days now! The weather has been pretty bad here so i haven't been able to have real fun with it, but from what I have seen so far it is awesome! Sharp wide open, and i feel like at f8 it is going to be incredible.
I also like the fact that the exposure on my GX-10 is pretty predictable. Generally overexposes by 2 to 3 stops.
As soon as the weather is better i will post some pics.

Oh and by the way, your collection is incredible! I am quite curious to see some pictures with the 18 and 20mm!

k28/3.5

I did a little bit of pixel peeping with this one....

It's very sharp. I can't wait for the overcast to be gone.

I really like the colors and contrast as well.
I am VERY happy with my investment!

Here it is my share of K mount threasures.

My current set is just the K18/3.5 and K55/2

Here are some pics of the K18, bought it locally (expensive :S) just because of it being so scarce, i'm gonna list it for sale because i can't afford to keep it.

It's very original (i haven't see this feature elsewhere), it has 4 filter included inside the lens, that we can choose through a ring.

K 300 and K T6-2X Part II

Hi Guys,

I posted this on the K 300 thread as well. But as both items are K series it seems to fit here too.

Went back to the pond between showers today with the K 300 and K T6-2X. Let's see what we got today. Used the tripod this time. Blackbirds were flitting all over the place and seldom stood still for a shot. This was the best of the day.

Dandelion

This rig requires a lot of patience. I found myself yearning for something in the more auto everything camp. On the other hand I can't afford that stuff at present.
Did notice some nasty purple fringing in shots where the bird was surrounded by branches.

In any case Daniel if one is not too critical the K 300 with a 2x on the back end, when combined with infinite patience and more than a little skill might be able to produce a passable image. I'm not sure I've succeeded here but I think it could be done.

Cheers,

Tom G

Pentax K Club - K 200mm f 2.5

Hi all,

I took the K 200mm f/2.5 out for a spin this morning. I slept in a little late and missed the best light but here we go. A military theme today. We have a Spitfire on a stick and an old Russian T34 (I think) on static display here in Waterloo. All shots hand held on the K10 with no post processing (I don't know how yet). I could be wrong but I find this lens uncommonly sharp.

Spitfire

A shame this beautiful bird is in such a sorry state. It should be restored and flying.

Russian T 34 Tank

Cheers,

Tom G

K 18 3.5

Barbosas,

Great looking 18mm there. Got any images from this little beauty. This or the K 15mm are very high on my want list.

As promised a few taken with the K18/3.5, the first one is wide open, all the others are around F/8.

These where quick shots taken this morning.
