I was in a photography shop the other day to see if they had any interesting Pentax glass, and I found a rare K20mm f/4 in very good condition. It´s a big beast with a very small focus throw, but fantastic to hold. Unfortunately, it was €235, which is too pricey for me, but I´d love to have been able to buy it .
I have the M20/f4. Not sure how it is compared to the K20/f4 but I really like it. It's sure in my keeper list.

Nice ones Paul and even with the new lens, they have your signature "smooth" finish!!! How do you like the k55?

Thanks smc - those are gorgeous surf at sunset shots.

Hey Rick - I need to get out with the K55 & see what it's capable of, although I've seen wonderful examples right in this thread. So far, tho, the look and rendering to me is *very* similar to my M50/1.7 (not surprising). I have a feeling it might be a little better low-light lens than the 50, too. It's such a nice lens to handle - the smooth focusing is a joy to use

A close-up of one flower of an early purple orchid.

This shot was taken on Kodak Ektar 100 using a Pentax KX, three Aico extension tubes and a K50/1.2 lens:

This was itself taken with a K20D and a K28/3.5.

Best wishes, Kris.

I really like this image!
Even though the clouds seem just a hair over dramatic, it still has a very strong sense of realism(like being there type of thing). Most excellent!

Nice! Many thanks for the link. Just downloaded Enfuse. Will try it out this week-end.

I was talking with a friend about a month ago and he was quite excited about some photos he had made using Ektar 100 ...

And now I can certainly see why! Great images, oceanpriest
