Sorry to disappoint you, but I'm Belgian .
To sweeten the pill, though: I lived for 7-8 years in Leiden.

A fine example to follow !

Wooaaah! It was crazy, but I am glad I dared. A couple of weeks ago I was the official wedding photographer using K10d + K28/3.5 and M85/2. I also had a wireless flash + umbrella. I received positive feedback today, they are very happy with the pics. Thank god....this was my first paid wedding assignment. I would like to post pics but I have to ask for permission first.

I have been thinking about filling the gap between 28/35mm and 85mm and today I was offered a K55/1.8 for $70 US. I will use it for portraits most of the time. Does anyone have pics (read: portraits) taken with this lens ?

Kind regards
.lars

First official K 55mm f/1.8 outing!!

I took part in a 25 mile bicycle pub crawl on Saturday and took my k55 with me. This lens is really nice. I am loving it. The bike ride was called Steel is Real and was for steel framed bikes only. So there were lots of nice older bikes to photograph...and lots of people. Here are a few. Here is the link to the gallery: Steel Is Real - Stephen Merola's Photos

Neat images Alexander, but must you post such large sizes?

---------------

On another note, the K 55 F/1.8 is one ~50 I've been wanting despite owning a Pentax M 50mm F/1.7 x2, Pentax M 50mm F/2, FA 50mm F/1.4, and the pentax K 50mm F/1.2

I thought the site was supposed to automatically resize large pics now.
