Correct, what we call "K series" lenses are not designated as such by Pentax, simply SMC PENTAX.

Testing out a second copy K 50/1.2 that I recently acquired at the Villandry Castle ... all wide open and playing about in an old version of Lr 3.6 on a newer computer and a new Asus monitor. (xpost from K-1 thread)

@edom31--My first 35mm camera was an Electro 35GT. Shop near me actually has two of them (silver) on the shelf. Dunno if they're operational.
