Some time ago I posted that photo in post your photo but now I'd like to post here to, taken with the SMC Pentax 50 F1.4 and the K1, is a photo that i really like.

First attempt at shooting the Milky way, went with the K15/3.5 on K1 (no astrotracer):

Indeed, great scenery captured magnificently. The milky way image is very nice as well. Impressive result with that old lens. Did you stop it down?

I had it wide open. I think I have an exceptional copy of the 15mm it seems much better that the reviews suggest.

Indeed, I was on the look-out for one but then I revisited the reviews and decided against it. This looks very good, especially since astro is challenging on any lens.
