Thanks Steve - it's just another one of my overachieving bargain lenses . I believe it's just a rebadged Pentax lens, but without the SMC coatings.

Pentax-A zoom 35-105mm f 3.5 macro

I love this old manual focus zoom on the K-1. Here are a couple of test shots of the garden after frost has killed everything.

I just came across this "Manual Zoom Club". All my lenses are manual....and shoot mostly Wild birds. People get blown away when I tell them that I am shooting birds and BIF with manual focus lenses.
I get fairly good number of keepers shooting MF lenses.

Shot from last weekend using K-1 and SMC 500mm f/4..5

Fantastic shots, cleaverx (although I'm not too sure about the lens being a "zoom")

Mono version of a previous shot with the Cosmicar A35-70/4:

Dusted off the Tamron 95-205 f6.3 for a session. It really is a great lens. Remarkable results considering it is considered the first consumer affordable zoom introduced in 1961

Very nice! My mother has these in her garden in California, too.
