Mine has a little bit of zoom creep. But only if it's at 70mm and I set it down on the rear lens cap. Then it'll fall to ~85mm.

thank you - it's a relaxing hobby and it provides for the house, too...

I paid $110 for my A 35-105 Macro. Seemed like an okay deal.
my A 35-105 came with an A 50mm f1.7 and a Super Program camera - the camera is for sale now and the A 50 is an amazingly sharp little lense...

You got a better deal than me then. Yep, that A 50 f/1.7 is a honey of a lens too.

she arrived today - looks barely used, small amount of zoom creep, some finishing marks on the front element.... pretty nice for a near-30 year old lense....

and she loves color (these are all untouched out of the camera, except the dragonfly is a crop):

I'm going to shoot a lot with this one this weekend...

I might have to get the 70-210 then. That's probably the best manual zoom I've seen at that price range...

The 200M is difficult to use on my camera because it's not too versatile, but that'd be great for Zoo/Nature walk pictures

thank you - I've got some practicing to do with it, but it does seem to be a keeper...

Guess I should contribute :P

Sears 80-200mm, M42 version. Wide open because I didn't have the pin pressed.

one of the shops we stopped in has a pair of basset hounds as the shop dogs:

and out in the alleyway.... old brick looks better (to me) in monochrome:

shooting with the big one (Ursula)....

I found out what happens if you don't check the camera's settings before shooting and the shutter speed is bumped to 1/2000th, rather than 1/200th:

when the zinnias should have looked like this:

one of the shots I missed last night due to operator error:

while I know that the spider is the shot, I'm really taken with the color rendition of the background...
