It should be fine

I have the "Cosmicar" branded version of this lens, and like it a lot. Mine has seen quite a bit of use already this year on the K10D:

I'm going to start using the ol' SMC-A 70-210 f4 again. I thought really hard about getting the DA 55-300, but decided I still like the manual A zoom better... I mean, it has quite some character, that is for sure! The kids' baseball season already started and it will see use there.

Here, just some test shots at home... but it does flatter the subjects I think, with the rendering, color and focal range. These are at f4, where I don't mind using it, but it really shines at f5 and smaller.
