Originally posted by pepperberry farm I have the Adaptall-2 44A (28-70mm) and it produces pleasing images/handles nicely/etc...... but, I have to agree, it's no match for the A35-105/3.5....
The bog standard Adaptalls are nearly all pleasing to use but the SP's in general are very pleasing. I received the 35-135 today (attached to an Olympus OM10), fitted an "A" adapter and tried it out. So far it is a worthwhile purchase but not particularly inspiring as the images are not crisp (if that is the right word) or showing great colour, I have tried altering the WB but no great improvement.
I also have the Tamron SP 35-210mm (26A) and that seems to have better colours. The 35-135 (22A) and the SP 35-210 (26A) have similar scores in the reviews so I will not give up on finding nice things about the (22A) when some summer sun comes.
Here are a couple of (26A) images that provide great (to me anyway) colour.
