wow those are great GUB. #2 particularly shows very good resolution - inferior mirrors always look scratchy with fine detail (and you nailed focus..)

Unfortunately the lens has a little element separation around the edge which is why the bokeh rings are off centre. I have only had it a couple of weeks and I have the feeling it is getting worse - hopefully will get some more use before it gets too bad.

Craigs Optics 60-300mm MC f/4-5.6 Macro (1:4). Identical to one the Promaster versions and very similar to one of the Soligor versions (different focus grip, otherwise seems identical). A German reviewer says it's made by Kiron, Dyxum forums mentions Cosina as the maker.

Not bad at all, considering I paid $22.01 for it + posting...

MFD @300mm:

Around 100mm

300mm wide open (camera registers f4 throughout the range for some reason)

300mm stopped down to f/8 (camera shows it wide open but I know it's at f8... I'm sure I had camera shake on this one.

It seems I can't get enough of my 22 dollar lens... I don't think it's pixie dust but I love the colors and rendering of the Craigs Optics 60-300mm f/4-5.6. Just so vibrant!

Tamron 35-135mm F3.5-4.2 on a K-5.
Not too bad a lens but looking at the images a Pentax-A can provide.......well no comparison! Obviously I am a big fan of the 35-105 but I am a big fan of the Tamron SP lenses too. Sadly this is not an SP lens.

I have the Adaptall-2 44A (28-70mm) and it produces pleasing images/handles nicely/etc...... but, I have to agree, it's no match for the A35-105/3.5....
