These photos were taken in mid-February, when these trees started blooming. Most of those blossoms have fallen off already. M35-70/2.8-3.5 on K-5:

Soligor - Miranda 105 - 175mm 5.6
This rather rare zoom (only a few hits on goggle) is a Tmount M44 lens. To make it harder the Tmount base was a nonstandard dimension. Because Miranda has a shorter lens flange to sensor distance I am unable to get infinity. But even so it is unable to focus very close so the two Fuschia shots are done with an extension tube included.
A very handsome zebra lens, almost a kilogram in weight, 62mm filter.
A crazy-small zoom range (105 - 175) but I guess that is why it has quite a reasonable image IQ.
Trombone zoom
And an oddity that I don't know whether it is normal for the lens or a malfunction -- even wide open the iris is still visible and casting an octagonal bokeh.
My dog portrait is cropped to about apsc and the rest uncropped on my K1
All wide open
