Very nice shots Rondec and Weevil. Thank you.
I have been researching a Wide Angle lens for group shots (at 24mm FL on APSC).
The shots with the HD-DFA 24-70/2.8 thread are so convincing, esp as it covers my most used range.
I would love to see some more group shots, if possible at 24mm. I know nobody makes group shots at 24mm, but something I get into tight spaces, so this one gives me some hope.

I'll see if I can "borrow" a shot or two from my wife. I don't shoot groups a whole lot, but she does.

My kids went sledding yesterday afternoon and I took some photos with the 24-70 at f2.8.

This is a 24mm shot my wife took at a Mennonite wedding she shot last fall. Hope it helps.

Yesterday, I was going to work, and I saw that Hawk by the road with a pigeon thay he caught. The Only Lens I had in my Car was the 24-70. But I coupled the HD-TC 1.4x (98mm), and was able to approach the bird close enough in my car...
I did a quite heavy crop at 1:2 and the result is acceptable nonetheless

EDIT: I changed the Bird's name, it's a Cooper's Hawk finally.... not a Sharp-Shinned Hawk

Nice shot of hawk. Good to see that the tc works with the 24-70.

Beautiful shot - Thank you - this is exactly my objective.
The vertical lines of the church are perfectly aligned, did she do that in pp? I would love to see some more in the course of time.

She didn't do any lens adjustment. There might be a slight crop off the edges and some tweaks of contrast/exposure, but otherwise I don't think she did much to the photo.

Would it be reasonable to ask a pixel shift image of this waterfall?

Pixel shift can only be done when the photo is taken and a waterfall has too much movement for pixel shift, plus this is handheld, no tripod.

I'm liking the way this lens seems to nicely render subtle tonal variations.

Is that what we call pixie dust.

Agree.

Agree and exactly my point because that movement will get a beautiful blur (much desired for a water fall shot) but showing a lot more texture in the surrounding rocks. A shot as such will be worth printing.

You could have worked with the floor rock or a tree branch if the view was obstructed. Not having a tripod and hence not being able to use pixel shift despite owning a K-3ii is.. well... lazy (no offense meant). It is a superb handheld shot.

May be I should have asked if you took a pixel shifted image for this composition? in the first place. My bad.
