The 24-70 seems far more flare resistant than my 16-50.

Heavy equipment on a damp day in the Pacific Northwest. No, this was not HDR. The light was just brilliant with the stormy sky and wet vegetation.

My 16 - 50 is my most used lens, and it still makes me do a double take when processing images from it. Very sharp and fantastic colors. When I step up to FF and the 24-70, I hope I'm similarly impressed.

Ooops, just realized this should be in the da* forum. Please forgive

Two more from a very wet city. Thankfully 24-70 is weather sealed

Your landscape photos are awesome, just wondering if you use a special tuning of colors.

Thank you. I'm trying for a natural, not over saturated look. Hopefully I get there.

I am using Lightroom 5 and Huelight color profiles and then I run most images through Nik Color Efex where I created a preset that adds some contrast, warms images a little, and does a little detail enhancement. That's usually about it.

The pixel shift images come from DCU with natural preset, a little sharpening and usually some shadow enhancement.

I hope that helps.

Tree at Sunrise.

For what it is worth, the full size image on Flickr is better than this down sized version.
