This lens is really fantastic, in various settings it's always giving me great results.

I've been enjoying these morning lake series, but I have been also wondering... when you load the camera into the truck, do you also bring a fishing pole?

One of the things I liked most about fishing was the peaceful sunrises with a thermos of hot coffee and just enjoying the view, even when they were not biting.

it's a personal thing, but I rather like the way that the fine spots of sea spray blend the brighter areas into the dark (24-70 @ 24mm)

Just got back from a week in Baja doing sea kayaking with this lens on my K-1. While I always wish for wider and longer with any lens, I'm really blown away how good this one is. It is now my new best friend.

Got this shot the first night there. It's hdr but still loving it regardless.

I can never understand why the knives seem to be out for this lens in reviews and on forums, I think it is really a very decent hunk of glass, as DimC, Rondec, Hattifnatt etc. prove again and again!

A couple more from me, x-posted from the K-1 thread. I struggled with the travel tripod (mainly owing to the blowy conditions) at the Glenbrittle Fairy Pools yesterday, Isle of Skye, Scotland.

I have almost never used a zoom before getting this lens, only primes. Being accustomed with the image quality a good prime can offer, I must say I'm very happy with this lens.

Few more samples.

Superb set! I love them.

Something a little bit different from me, some textures from the shoreline today:

Well that's strange some people dont like this lens because in terms of IQ and AF it's really great.
So maybe it's because this lens being a rebranded Tamron sold for a little more than the original one for Canon or Nikon, people just dont like this fact I dont see their point though.
If this 24-70mm was not available Ill be very disapointed to be honest.
