I just got my lens back from Precision and took it out shooting yesterday a little bit. It does seem to be in good shape and had a quick turn around time from them.

You had to send a brand new lens? Was it for calibration?

I guess she had the grip on and an external flash and thought it was a lot steadier than it was when she set it down.

Nice to see you are happy with it

I like the flare resistance and sharpness of the small brother, the 17-50 so this lens might be logical upgrade when I get FF

Nice mood in both images - thank's for sharing. This lens is one on my wish list. Next year I have to wait until I know what's about the Pentax FF and prioritize against DFA150-450.
