Bump.

Not a great shot, but good for a bump. Had a big fire last night just down the road. Fire Department call. Taken with my 70-210 Magnicon with my 2x converter. (total 420mm)

Plastic lens but lightweight and quite OK image quality
Best, Georg (Enna-maniac :-)

For $9, even if it didn't work, it's a cheap paper weight.

I'm guessing the cold water woke him up a little! He has the "oh crap, someone's taking my picture" look on his face.

I also took some digital pics as well and the sad thing is that when I looked at the time stamps from the time he fell in to the time he was rescued, it was over 45 minutes in freezing cold 50 deg water.. It was a good thing that other fisherman threw down a rope to him.

When I saw your picture, all I could think of was the cuts he was going to have on his hands! Those mussels and barnacles can be sharp!

These were taken last summer. Taken with my Magnicon 70-210. Hawk pictures are cropped quite a bit.

that XR Rikenon 135/2.8 posted early is one of my low light mainstays. Not that *sharp* but sharp enough and well built.
