The lens he is using is m42, for which there are loads of 10mm tubes available.
Thanks. I should have paid more attention.

A manual Kimunor 500mm at f11, 1/500, handheld

Not too bad for a freebie lens.

Wasn't sure where to put these but they fit here and revive a thread that's been abandoned for some time.

Auto Chinon 55mm f/1.7, M42 mount.

It is always nice to see some off-brand action. One of the more joyful threads on PF. But I had not realised how long it had been.

Your Auto Chinon looks useful enough, although I suspect it will be one of those lenses to use in more subdued lighting.

Wow, not much has happened here since the last time I posted. I got the Chinon M42 55/1.7 out again for some wide-open flower shots

Interesting shot. I don't see any problem with the corner sharpness that is mentioned in the one review in the lens review section. Looks like the kind of lens that deals with low contrast situations well but has problems with high contrast. I have a few of those (e.g. Ricoh XR 135 and Sigma DG 70-300).
Perhaps you could put a review in the lens review section.

I remember having a hard time finding a mention of this lens on the net. In fact, it is really indistinct in the picture. And this photo has undergone some serious PP. Both in colors and in contrast.

This lens was purchased from ebee as a test at an auction and cost less than $ 15. It is difficult to expect anything outstanding from him.

It's been several years since I last used the Kentar 35mm f2.8. Decided to do a DIC with it and the *istDS2 this month. Several of the images so far:
