Nesster,
great self-portrait of a lens addict! I see you're still working hard on that short Soligor tele (got the same as T4-Tokina).

Here's another self-portrait in that style, K100D + Mamiya Sekor SX 1.4/55 (clearly overpp'd by the user :-)

Same lens, with ND4 filter, no PP but crop,

Same lens, no crop no pp

Thanks ovim,
this is from an exhibition and the chairs are waiting for a presentation/discussion later on. I was after the 'long' bokeh in this and the lens is a big fave for it.

Georg, I love the saturation and creativity of your pictures. Well done!

Here's another one (Hi Mel! trying to follow you) with the Soligor 105/2.8 T4 mount lens, on a Yashica TL Electro-X, Kodak Ultramax:

thanks Mel.

Here's one with a free lens - and actually the second Hanimar I've ended up in December. The first was a basic tube 135mm - I posted a pic of it here somewhere - and this second one I got when the seller mailed it to me by mistake. She didn't want it back, it wasn't worth the hassle. Hanimar Auto "S" 135mm f/2.8. Not the greatest lens, but then I have trouble with 135mm in general.

*New* Phoenix A 24mm f2.8 "Macro"
this is my first MF lens that was new,

Not too much of a macro 1:5?
plastic build but nice and solid.
Conclusion - I like it, this is my widest prime.

Been becoming acquainted with my Prinz Galaxy f 5.6 400mm, some fiddling has been done to where the adapter screws to the mount, which seems to have improved its picture quality, and played with shutter speeds as it doesn't like our harsh summer light too much.

Rikenoh XR F 2.8 135mm K mount
The lens and one of the better pictures from my first day of bonding with it.
Ican see quite a lot of potential for macro in the field for this lens with the right macro adaptor collection.

I don't know if Tokina is considered off brand, but here are three taken with my Tokina 28 F/2.8 hooked to my K1000 and using Fuji superia 100

Hawk with Mamiya-Sekor 400mm

This really shouldn't go here, but I can't find another lens "club" thread to put it in.

I recently acquired a Mamiya-Sekor 400mm f6.3 preset, screwmount lens at a thrift store. (I know, it is hardly an off-brand.) Here are two shots with it on my K10D. I think the bird is an adolescent Cooper's Hawk. (I hope the birders among us will correct me if I'm wrong. Wingspan was about 3 feet.) He/she grabbed one of our overfed squirrels and is making a lunch of it. Distance is about 200 ft. Photo at f11.

I can't say that I'm all that happy with how sharp they are. Perhaps it is my technique, but I expected better. These images have been sharpened with a capture and output sharpening process in Photoshop CS2. They were taken on a tripod with a remote release and with shake reduction turned off. They are also cropped a bit.

Cooper's Hawk-1 ???

Cooper's Hawk-2 ???

Kiron 80-200mm f4 Macro P/K mount

I picked this thing up at a local shop that doesnt have a pentax account to begin with. I got it for less than the price of dinner for one. Just sold it to a lucky canadian, and I hope he's enjoying it.

Cosina surprise

Cosina 50mm stuck in F2? (there is a diaphragm ring but no sign of a diaphragm?)
Everything you see is edible.
