Yes, Mir 20 without flaws under $150 U.S is a very good buy. If I found one at about your price I would get it. Assuming it's not defective in any way.

I still think Zenitar 16mm is better then Mir 20 (more compact as well.
16mm will be approximately 24mmm on your Pentax Kx and 20mm about 30 or so.

Zenitar 16mm is another interesting lens, but little much more expensive than the mir,so maybe before i prefer buy a very good 28mm, in future i could think at re sell this mir 20 to buy a zenitar, talkin about price, you say if you could find one at less than 150$ could be interested, maybe this site could be interesting RUSCAMERA - WELCOME TO OUR STORE i've never try buy something there but it has lot of lenses and camera at good price. I think i will buy the Mir 20 cause seems an opportunity at 75$. Still don't understand if i will have better quality than 18-55. Thanks for answear

I don't believe that web site is active. A lot of prices are unrealistic in a way + broken links. It probably went dead quite a few years ago.

I don't have experience with Mir 20 but I don't think it would be better quality then Pentax kit lens. It hard for me to imagine how it would be any superior.
But I would have to test it to make any factual judgment.
Maybe someone who actually owns one can comment on it.

Mir 10A (28mm)
It's very good optically, but heavy.
The best part, is it's star shaped aperture (similar to Volna 9 and Industar 61)..... that and it can focus VERY close.

When I click on images to see the EXIF data, I'm being redirected to picasa and see a warning message that the image is not available.
