It was the m42 Helios 44-2, when I just got it. If you follow the photo link, you can then press M to see bigger size. Its not perfect, wide open, but scale it down and it looks very sharp

Wow...nothing is quite like the look of film shot through a vintage lens.

Generally I try to avoid posting photos not taken with a Pentax camera, and this is not a great shot -- low light meant that I either missed focus or shook a bit much -- but check out the bokeh on that lens:



(It's a Jupiter-8M, wide-open, on a Kiev-4A rangefinder.)
