Been eyeing one for my Kiev rangefinder, as they're cheap enough, but no idea if I'd use it more than the Jupiter or not.
Pinholecam is the only one I've seen using one on these forums (

here). AFAIK, Kiev is the only mount the lens ever came in, so adapting them to anything modern is a real PITA. If you've got the proper camera, go for it! They're only ~$25. I'd love to see what you come up with. They're supposed to be sharper than the Jupiter 8, which I can believe. It looks like it has some swirl, too.

Yes, and I think you've asked me before.
I believe all the silver ones were m39-mount with 13 blades. When the switched to M42, the blade count went down.
