MC Helios 44K-4
ISO 80, first and third wide open, second could be F4 (not sure). I've attached lens hood.

@Laurentiu Cristofor, @weakhead, any chance you're using lens hoods on your Helios/Biotar?

Yes, I've used lens hood for images in my last two comments. This lens is very prone to flare and severe contrast loss when shooting against strong light, especially wide open.

It's pretty hard to get some nice bokeh with Industar 50, isn't it?

agreed but around 5.6-8 its a damn sharp little lens as long as you aren't shooting into the sun

+1 when the war breaks out. I't will be the lens I run back into my burning house to collect :P There is something wonderfully germorussian about it, small, compact, efficient, functional, tuff

Early-ish Helios-44 with 13 blade aperture (serial 020). This was f/4 or 5.6...it definitely shows some weird aberrations immediately in front of and behind the focal plane. But the bokeh is what we're after anyway

So I got myself a Helios 44-2, and I am absolutely in love with this lens. My first couple of shots with it went well:

And I managed to get some swirly Bokeh for the first time today! Just a bit, but it's definitely swirly!
