Industar-61, at f/4 or so.

And one with the Helios 44 at f/2.8. I still like the Helios lenses best.

That's a bath right there. I don't see a problem...

She wasn't the only one getting a bath yesterday. (Also with the Helios 44)

Sure, in a certain way...
Btw - have you used CIF for these shots? And which f number?

I'm actually using an A7r now, so it was just focus peaking. It works about as well as the Katzeye split prism I used on my K-5. For quickly-moving subjects, I pre-set the distance and use burst mode when the subject gets there. Aperture, I kept at f/2.8.

I can only admire this... Especially the first one in your 2nd post.

I recently purchased a Helios 44m-4 58/2 on Ebay. The seller just contacted me and said he has lost this lens, but it sending me the better, "more professional MS version of the lens" instead. He said this is an improvement over the 44m-4 I purchased initially. I can only find a couple references to MS Helios lenses on the web, but no details. Can anyone shed any light on this, is this a good lens?

Here's an image of the only "MS" lens I could find on ebay. Not the same lens as the one in question, but it says "MS"...

The 77m is a different focal length and aperture as it is actually a 50/1.8. I have the 77m-4 version (haven't had the 77m) and it appears to be about the same optical performance level as the copy of the 44m-4 that I have (sans focal length of course). The sharpest one of all mine 50ish Helios lenses is the 44m-7.
