I collected Soviet glass since 2010, I've sold some only to re-buy them again, etc. Over the last half a year or so, I focus mainly on M39 or rangefinder lenses as I moved to mirror-less cameras, still have several Pentax bodies but I find mirror-less cameras are much easier to adapt unusual lenses and projector lenses.

Here's a few of my mirror-less cameras with some of the Soviet glass (Taken with NEX-6 and Helios-33, excellent lens btw)

May be just a garden shot, but the layout is nice and the clarity is breathtaking. Got to check on that lens.

I wonder how it compares to the 37-A and to the original CZJ Sonnar.

Cannot say about the comparison, but I love my CZJ Sonnar 180mm, and will be trying it on some flowers when our new gardening season begins some months from now.
