Before I bought the Vega 12B f/2.8 90mm medium format lens I am currently trying out, I searched for all of the webpages I could find on which it was described or discussed. From time to time that kind of search turns up blog reviews written in languages other than English, meaning I have to rely on the built-in translator that runs in the linux version of the Chromium browser I have running on my laptop computer. Usually, these translations are pretty good, and, when the word order or word choices are a bit off, I normally can figure out what is meant. I discovered in this search, however, that this translator program has a bit of trouble with Korean.
This is one of the most fascinating statements it produced in English, something that any fan of Soviet lenses might want to remember and prepare for with appropriate safety equipment:
"There are many lenses in Russia that have very good caustic rain."
