Xpost from K-1 thread...

All that rain is finally paying off... (except for the dang mosquitoes!)

Another X-post from K-1 thread.

This Takumar may get a front row in my camera bag for a while... I am liking it more and more...maybe even more than my Soligor 20mm for some things that don't need to be so wide, the 35mm focal length is a good all-arounder.

Those who said that the Super-Tak 20mm was a dud....they are the ones who lied. But it probably has more to do with the photographer who is using it. Nice work, Dave.

The ponies are rather sleek looking in their summer coats!

These are prolly starting to get old about now... but another Xpost from K-1 thread. Can't help myself, I'm just having too much fun.
I've got a few more fun bokeh shots in the queue, but I'm getting to the end soon, I promise.

We don't mind seeing nice images from *elderly* lenses. I should really dig out my SMC Takumar 55/1.8 more often, but it isn't all that good for birding ...

Thanks CR! Glad some do enjoy seeing what vintage glass can still do.

Another Xpost, I think this is stopped down a click or two... it starts to get silly sharp. I should prolly try some F11-16 landscapes with it, but I've been having too much fun playing with the bubbles, heh.

Most of the lenses in the wide range Tak through M seem to have the best MTF around f/8. I think over that the diffraction starts to affect them. That has in no way limited my trying f/16 with the M 28/3.5 I had, nor with the DA 12-24 I now have, though.

Very nice. I also have a copy of the 8 element version of that lens. It was my first Super-Tak.
