Well I'm not sure it helps but today I am using Edge and two posters but not Dave, have little boxes instead of images showing for me and when I click through them I can see the missing images on Flickr. Very odd. My setup is stock standard Windows 10. Dave - your images are beautiful as always :-)
Thanks Arjay. It's actually reassuring to know that at least I'm not the only one with strange things happening to Flickr lately.

After some expletive accompanied testing this afternoon, it looks like the Opera browser will let me get onto my Flickr account and then actually see the photos when I'm on there. Here's a test post to check if it works for posting here too, a six shot stitch of defished shots with the 17mm. I think it's a testament to how well the lens defishes that you can get away with stitching the results.

(Fingers crossed that everyone can actually see the photo.)

Absolutely lovely, Paul. I really like it with the colours and composition.

And visible on my ancient Android phone. Well done. A very nice job both capturing and processing.

Thank you, Paul. A Super-Tak and a K10D - what else would you expect?

Go on, give it a try, you know you want to. You can pick up a 55mm/2.0 for spare change these days, and after all it's just a little taste test to see if you like it. What's the worst that could happen? It's not like you're going to end up with a lifelong addiction that'll leave you scouring the thrift shops in every town you visit, spending hours scrolling through auction sites looking for mis-listed rarities at cheap prices, agonising over whether you prefer the Super Takumar or Super-Multi-Coated versions, or finding that you can't stand to use an AF lens anymore because your Takumars just feel so right. That's never happened to any of us.

I started by buying the 55/2.

Then I got, not in this order, 20/4.5, 24/3.5, 28/3.5, 35/3.5, 35/2, 50/1.4, 50/4, 55/1.8, 85/1.9, 100/4, 105/2.8, 120/2.8, 135/2.5, 135/3.5, 150/4, 200/4, 200/3.5, 300/4, 300/6.3. And then it stopped.
