I really have to take my Taks out to play more often. I've got enough of them! (28, 35, 50, 50 macro, 55, 100 macro, 135, 200)

Nice and crisp shots! Do you recall what f-stop you used for these? I love mine for it's sharpness and color rendering in good light.
Best.

Thnk you Charlie. I was shooting at f9.5 (dot between f8 and f11).

These are my first takes with the tele-taka. First inpression is that I love the handling and compactness of the lens. It is for outdoor/sunny use ofcourse. I can't wait to have the chance of shooting some birds/squirrels/bunnies with it.

Thanks for the info. I think you'll be very happy with it's performance when you nail focus. I sometimes use live view as an aid and find that it can be sharp wide open or at F6.7.
Best.

The third shot is excellent. Great detail and contrast.

you need a dedicated M42-body for them...

I do own a K-S2 (which doesn't see a lot of use with my KP getting most of my attention) and an original Pentax M42-PK adapter, so I really have no excuse!

Is that your Celica? Not many left in good shape like that.

The most patriotic RV dealership in Mesa. Super Tak 50/1.4, minus one element.

I am not sure what this tiny gold and garnet piece was originally but the Macro Takumar 50mm f4 and y K-r recorded it at life size, 1:1
The object is only .20 of an inch wide!
