ISO 400 film, those settings seem very well thought of based on what I've read an limitedly practiced.

My last expired roll was a 400, expired a good 10-12 years I believe... I think I set at 200, but it would've beneficiated from a bit more light. I did achieve good contrast, but lost most if not all midtones. Still I printed two of my results (full shot of my then 2 YO (she's sitting down so full body technically) + a shot of the Empire State bldng from 34th street west side.
it seemed a good guess.....the kodak gold400 was i think a 1/3 under 200 prolly could have went to 100.........the fuji 50D i need to treat like 12 to 8 it needs light to burn it purdy good...it's only taken about 6 rolls to figure it out and still a guess

thats great ya got prints outta that film especially of yer then 2yo !!

Interesting. Other than the brightness of the lights, that has an "old" feel.

Wow, the first image is amazing. At first glance I thought I was looking at a miniature of this scene and then I noticed the ouf of focus areas and looked closer. This is one of those images that got me looking twice (or three times). Thanks for sharing and I guess that I want to shoot medium format now as well ;-)

from a walk the other night, SMC Tak 55 f1.8 adapted to the GFX50R (and shot in full medium format mode not 35mm crop)
Odd flare, possibly from the light source but more likely cleaning marks on a 55+ year old lens

I find the flare intriguing. A lovely image, indeed.

thanks! yeh that medium format magic and cropped to a 5x3 format.....believe it was wide open @ 2.4...the second was between 4-5.6....plus the background makes all the difference
the kit was less than a k-1 ii and been wanting one for quite sometime and reap the benefits that medium format offers......it's a whole new elevation to the joy of shooting
