Ok understood

One thing I find is that when using many long tiles with very long focus throw, is that you need to be constantly aware of the approximate shooting range, and also keeping your lens set to this range. You can’t walk around treating it with a spur of the moment lens, because you can’t rotate the focus collar fast enough.

It also helps to have pre metered, using green button in manual, mode, so that shooting is a simple matter of quick focus adjust, followed bo stopping down to the preset FStop and pressing the shutter.

The other thing you need to do is make sure the viewfinder diopter is correctly set.

I also have found over the years the the OM53 eyepiece makes a surprisingly large improvement. I'm still using the one I bought with the (film) KX in the 1980's

Looks plenty sharp wide open, especially on that portrait.

Yeah, I had some sun yesterday and was able to stop it down a bit for some photos. Had an interesting walk in a new area.

Noticed my friend working on some clay mugs and was inspired to capture some of it. Threaded a SMC Takumar 50mm f1.4 onto my K-1 and took a few snaps
