Which 55mm f2.2 do you have? The earlier Takumar or the later auto-Takumar? I just put the auto-Takumar on a camera today, hoping to get some good photos with it. It's one of my favorite lenses. S-M-C Takumar 20/4.5 on K10D. As far as any PP, I used the default RawTherapee low-iso auto-matched curve preset. Then exported to jpeg, and resized for the web - that's all.

I found a photo taken at the same time as the last one posted, about 6PM as the sun was setting and just after a rainstorm passed through. It was taken on August 23, 2017. I never really looked at the photo before and only today processed it. It was shot hand-held at 1/20 sec and f9. The 24 megapixel file can be downloaded from the Flickr page.

That's a very nice way to capture an amazing scene. I can't begin to imagine what that place must be like and this image conveys that slightly disconcerting (to me) feeling. Well done
