The 135/3.5 isn't a bad lens. I just have not had as good luck with it as I have with the 105/2.8 or the 85/1.9. For most of my shooting situations it is just too damned long anyway.

Look what I've got!

I had an LBA moment and got myself this:

And I took it out for the first time today. It was really sunny so I just set the aperture to 16 and focus to infinity and everything from about 1m was in focus

Iif anybody could point to someplace in EU where you could get an original adaptor?
I got mine from www.cyberphoto.fi, they also have a webstore in Sweden www.cyberphoto.se. Seeing you're from Denmark you could get one from them. If I remember right it was something like 24eur+shipping.

I actually agree, I've owned both those lenses and they both are better than the 135 - the 85 is legendary, but the 105 is IMO the best telephoto takumar.

I'm just sticking up for the little guy

Mike, I love the way the disturbed water spreads out in that one.

I haven't posted in this thread for for a long time (too long).

I bought a Macro 50 f/4 a little while ago, I took it out this week. Boy, that lens is razor sharp.
First one is the only one that's cropped.

That is one of those lenses that I keep meaning to get, Gary. That dandelion shot is especially eye-catching. I actually won the 100mm macro Takumar on auction once, but after about three days of no communication from the seller I tracked down a phone number and called them up. I learned they had sold the lens to a walk-in customer. "We're trying to find you another one." If he had been in front of me I probably would have strangled him.

I can't tag that up on Flickr yet because I don't remember the name of the ship. I have it in a photo on my SV, but I have to wait to finish the roll of film and then get it back....probably a couple of months from now.

Love the composition on this one Mike, and that previous one with the cherry blossom company logo.

I haven't posted for a while but that's because I've been using the Taks on my ME super. I'll fix that scanner up soon so I can post, but for now here's for an unholy combination. Tammy 28-75 (my biggest lens) with ME Super (my smallest body), a fully functioning combination. Gotta love forward compability.

Well actually the Super Tak 200 is longer, but it looks too much at home with the ME super that it's not too amusing.

Just put this one up in the still life competition but that thread won't have the longevity of this one so here it is again - please excuse double post.
