whoooa Rocker, some neat colors and effects on those bike details!
those extension tube shots look interesting..they do give some special effect
Maconmatt such a photo only can be made in an instant that happens..really love it. There is a saying of a famous photographer that comes to my mind:
'Photography is not like painting,' Cartier-Bresson told the Washington Post in 1957. 'There is a creative fraction of a second when you are taking a picture. Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition when to click the camera. That is the moment the photographer is creative'
Your cat pic is great too, the clarity of the eyes is quite amazing.
Hi again Mr. Cash. You were looking at us through the same mirror two pages earlier too

my little kitty:

( S-M-C Takumar 1.4/50 )

cheers,
Andreas

Ah....crap. I have trouble keeping track of what I've posted here. I'm going to have to start adding a tag on Flickr to help me with that.

Did I post this early morning photo of a homeless guy shaving himself in a photo booth mirror?

I second deadwolfbones there, very cool kuaan. I love the way the perspective makes the white lines merge by the top of the image.

Mike, like the shaving one too, especially the reflection of his face.

Third here...the lines are awesome...it also looks like the guy from Mortal Kombat. Did any of you guys play that game?

Here's one from today in downtown San Francisco. Pentax K20D, Takumar 105/2.8.

Picked up a couple lenses from a local shop today, the Super Tak 24 3.5 was one.
Just had time for a couple test shots, hope to find time to put it through it's
paces over the next couple days. Anyone else have one of these?

This could be an album cover - if there wasn't already Smashing Pumpkins it could be Hammering Tomatoes!

Great shots, Jay. I have the K24/3.5, which I understand is the same formula as all the Takumars.

Very, Very sharp - I'll post up something on the K Club thread and link back here.

thank you guys, happy you liked my last photo, I had already shown it here and there, maybe even uploaded it to the gallery here just as this one, a Geisha being picked up for a private party by Taxi in Kyoto, also taken with Super Takumar 1.4/50

This came in the post this morning:

Super Takumar 105/2.8 taken with smc Pentax-M Macro 50/4 @f5.6. The lens came with a rather large end cap that was advertised as being damaged and is not much use to me (Yashica TL Electro). But the lens is in good shape

I've been wanting to get one of these for quite a while after seeing at the excellent images from Mr Cash

Here's a couple of test shots both at f4.

I think I am going to enjoy this lens.

He displays the initiative to get up and go find a mirror to shave in. I haven't shaved in years. Not because I choose to have a beard, but because I choose not to be bothered with shaving.
