300MM F4 preset

Only Takumar I own is the 300mm F4 preset (model II ~1965 1.5kg version).

All handheld at the local zoo on K20D, F5.6 - F8 mostly

(I think - ignore the exif in terms of focal length) Super tak 105/2.8 on camera, super tak 35/3.5 mounted face to face with the 105.

This one I'm pretty sure is the smc tak 55/1.8 on camera, super tak 35/3.5 mounted face to face. I really should take notes or something . . .

Mel, nice macros!

Kuuan, are you doing anything extra in post with the Auto Tak 55mm f/2.0? I like mine (55mm f/2.2) SOOC but they are low on contrast compared to Super Tak 55mm f/1.8 shots.

the first one of the temple building has no upping of contrast, the one of the statue in the pagoda had the Lightroom default contrast of 25 upped to 27

originals are very blue, these have adjustment of WB to become warmer but no increased contrast:

here see all the photos so far uploaded taken with this lens, viewable in original sizes: Auto Takumar 55mm f2 - a set on Flickr
( and as slideshow: Auto Takumar 55mm f2 )

I love this lens too
