Hello Peter,

very nice pics!! espc. the 2. one. I did one thing wrong in the description of the jelly pic. It is not fully opened it is one step closed as one can see in the little pools of light in the back. The 8 blade structure is visible. Would you say the step between aperture 2.5 and 4 is more 2,8 or 3,5?
Thanks Michele! Of course it does not really matter if it's f/2.8 or f/3.5, it's the result that count, but I think it's more like f/3.5 than f/2.8.

It shows why the 200mm f/4 SMC Takumar is a very fine piece of glass. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Michele. I have been watching a 5-element version (43802) and was thinking that if yours was a 5 element and capable of performing that good I was considering bidding on it. However, I suspected yours was the 6-element one.

Since I don't think I have had any input from someone using a M42 lens, please help me out here:

That 135/2.5 is really something! My Komine Vivitar 135/2.8 is a little dissapointing but I have not played with it as much as I've liked. I need to ge ta hold of some taks.

I use them daily....in Av mode....and have shot somewhere upwards of 30,000 photos that way. Sorry I didn't qualify.
