Just a guitarist from a small time blues band.

Thaipusam.. I've seen some pretty gruesome images in relation to this. I would like to see more if you have any.

Here's another from the Super Tak 50/1.4 I bought from Peter Zack. This time stopped down a bit. A very nice lens!
This shot has some PP, including selective blurring, sharpening, contrast&sat, etc...

Hey Carl, i don't have much experience handling the spotty in fast moving subjects, to make it worse, it was crowded with photgraphers and onlookers. All i got on hand was the 400 speed films i bought last year. It was my virgin trip, so i will be better prepared next year! First 2 photos using SMC Takumar 28mm F3.5 and Fuji Pro 400H. 3rd and 4th using SMC Takumar 105mm F2.8 and Fuji Sensia 400.

Hey Andreas, I love the chopsticks and spoons!
Just a question for anyone who owns the smct 35/3.5, does your photos appear soft on the bottom corner when using it on a film? Mine exhibit soft corner especially on the bottom left corner.

I think i'm using wide open on this.

This was stopped down to f8?

Charlie, yes I see that in the photos you posted - though in the first one I'd chalk it up to field curvature & effective photography... the second one does have a soft corner. I haven't seen this on my copy - though I have a 35mm Yashinon that does wierd things. I'm not sure what might be causing this, perhaps a small mis-alignment or some dirt in the rear?

Anyway, I went looking through my film pics... and found an interesting thing. Lookie who shows up when you do a flickr search for "Takumar 35" Mike Cash and yours truly

Here, SMC Takumar 35/3.5, Yellow filter, Kodak BW400CN, Fujica ST605, just to look at corners.

@Nesster - I've seen your name on a couple of other searches too. I think it helps to take lots of well tagged photos with unusual equipment. I show up under "Seimar".
