Wow. Look at all those bluebells. Nice.

Again with the 35.
An Irish pub in Washington DC's Chinatown. In fact, there wasn't much left that was Chinese in Chinatown, a shop and only a couple restaurants. The rest was Starbucks, Subway, a Texas BBQ place, some other non-chinese stuff. Kinda sad really.

I really like the last photo, nice composition and beautiful colors.
Thanks, TimeBandit! I took quite a few shots before I nailed the focus on that one.

I've recently joined the club having purchased 50mm 1:1.4 and 28mm 1:3.5 Super-Takumars. Unfortunately I haven't had much chance to try any serious photography, just tests. So far though, I'm impressed with what I'm seeing especially the 28.

28mm @3.5

50mm @ 1.4 (I think)

Evening on the Strand-Super Takumar 55mm 1.8

Mel, I like the Black and White above. It inspired me to post the Admiralty shot below your photograph. I used to live in Washington D.C. years ago and I enjoyed that city very much.

Super-Multi-Coated 55/1.8

Don't remember the aperture, but must have been 1.8 or 2:

Thanks!! I'm trying to make a point of getting into the city on a more frequent basis. I spend way too much time out in the burbs and aestheticly, it's very boring.

Another one from Chinatown, 105/2.8 on the K20D

I'm quite a fan of the red cart also. Not bad for a 'test' shot.
