Thanks for the encouraging words, but I was not sure at 100%.
So I hesitated and did not comment letting the correction to more experience people.

I'm still new to using Takumar lenses on DSLR's too, so I hope anyone will chime in if they have advice or see something they don't think is quite right. The more the merrier....

All from a SuperTak 35 F/2 (the later one). I don't love this lens -- It's turned yellow (which I've slowly been fixing -- it's a slow process.) This lens did convinced me to buy a FA31 -- so I can thank it for that!

(I also got this was from Craigslist with a a S-M-C 50/1.4, SuperTak 200/4 Spotmatic SP, and a bunch of accessories for $90, so I'm pretty happy with that! All from an original owner -- he was happy someone could make use of it!)

Lucky lens

There is someone on ebay that takes advantage of superstitious people selling a Pentax Super-Takumar 35/3.5 SM for 855 USD for the reason that it bears the number 777777.

Or am I wrong and this lens always did and will always do ultra marvelous picture even if the camera was/is OFF?
