Thanks very much. Just one little old AF200T made quite a difference, I think.

I love obscure allusions as photo titles, but I can't figure out the Bon Jovi reference.

Here's my own personal favorite obscure allusion:

To make a long story shorter... I was ready to post image when a couple of friends dropped in, yada, yada, yada... started asking if Philly or LA won the LFL Bowl VIII, I said who cares, "My team lost in the playoffs," they said, "Bon Jovi owns the Philly Team", and I said, "No, he owns the Arena Football team in Philly", and they said, "Oh...(pause) well, he should own it, he's the pretty boy of rock and roll"

You can start with a Super Takumar 55/1.8. It can be found for $15-$25 on eBay and produces excellents images. From there you can see whether to grow your collection or not.

Wifey was experimenting this plate last night, mainly composed of porc, tofu and chili. Was pretty good and very spicy

Looks very much like the Japanese dish, マーボー豆腐 (mabo-dofu), except yours has a higher proportion of meat and the tofu is cut much smaller. That stuff is great on top of a bowl of rice.

That's a ship shape shot. Terrific, it has a lot of atmosphere-all that night blue...

I can't imagine trying to ride a bike in heals, let alone those ones.

Mapo Tofu is as Japanese as General Tso's Chicken is Chinese.

That's after "correcting" for the extremely harsh sodium lights used at the container yard. It made the blue a bit funky, as well as the light from the ship's light fixtures, but I decided to go with it.

They still have the power to amuse but they long ago stopped amazing me.

My favorite Japanese foods are: Ramen, Gyoza, and Curry. (Just as I typed the word "Curry" my wife appeared with a nice big steaming plate of it, oddly enough).
