Ok I am reaching out to all my takumar friends! I have been buying takumar lenses for a few years now.. I have collected quite a few.. However, I have reached the point to where I need some kind of lens tool kit to work on them. I have fixed quite a few but never with the right tools and now I am asking you guys what you think I should buy? I own 24mm - 400mm and just about everything between. some in great shape others in not so good.. Also anyone see a 15mm anywhere? I want to get my hands on one of those. I have a feeling they go for a lot.

Sorry to have been absent so much lately. From the 12th through the 14th I was out on my motorcycle hunting up stuff to shoot. Then from the 16th through 18th I was out in my truck and couldn't get home.

One of the things I found while rooting around in the mountains on my motorcycle:

K20D + Super Takumar 28/3.5 @ ISO1600

I acquired a K20D recently, my early impression is that it cannot beat the K10D at ISO100 but at higher ISO's like 1600, the camera comes "alive" with its own personality... it could be the lens as well

My experience is that the K20D is better at 200 than 100 so I stick to 200 unless I need to slow things down for some reason or other (like wanting to use the K50/1.2 wide open in bright light...)

Thanks, that's good to know! I've been wondering why ISO100 looks so ordinary on the K20...

I didn't know that. I should start shooting at ISO200 with my K20D then. I'm so used to my K10D where ISO100 rocks.
