Super Takumar 300mm f4 - A wonderful lens

I do not hear too much about this wonderful lens, so here are some pics:

(I just resized them)

Good shots with the Tak300/f4. The biggest flaw of this lens is the CA which is very obvious in your shots.

I think you are right. However, I shot with several other lenses today and got CA too. I think it is more related to the time of the day I shoot. For example, these photos were taken at about 11 am with a sunny day. I have taken other pics without CA.

Thank you, it was a special event and I'm glad that I got away with these and few more shots that I'm happy with.

those 300mm shots are great, but you may want to resize them, Im looking at them on my new 23 inch monitor and still had to scroll about 2 screens over

I haven't found a lens that get metallic surfaces correct as the SMC Macro Takumar 50mm.

Love these screw mounts lenses.
This is shot with a Super Tak 200 f4 - Straight out of the camera (no PP but would probably benefit with a bit more contrast):

In your User Control Panel you can set the maximum size you wish to have images displayed. It liberated me from griping at everybody to use the IMGWIDE tages.

They're mediocre, like the rest of my crap, but it is very kind of you to say so.

Super Takumar 35mm f/2

The little white dot on the bottom right is actually lens flare (probably because I was using a polarizer instead of the lens hood). I didn't even notice it in the full sized image.
