Thanks! Both photos were taken in Ljubljana, capital of our country. I really like Takumar 35 f3,5. It makes very good photos on FF camera. It is my little Takumar Limited lens

I was going to sell my 35/3.5 because I use the 35/2 most of the time, but I am going to keep it. Thanks.

On FF 35 f3,5 works better than 35/2 wich is soft in the corners (until f8) and it has a lot of CA. At f3,5 the little one is better than Tak 35f2 at f3,5.

I wonder if this holds true with the Tak 28 f2.8 vs the 28 f3.5.. I love my 3.5, but I would love to drop to 2.8 or lower.. as long as it's as sharp as my SMC Tak 28 f3.5...

There is no real Takumar 28 f2,8. Takumar 28 f2,8 has K or KA mount and are they were lower end of Pentax line in early 80. I have Takumar A 28 f2,8 and is not bad lens, but colors are not Pentax like.

Nice shots. I remember those beautiful canals and bridges and trees in Ljubjana. I enjoyed my stay there in 1986 even though it was brief. I shot a few rolls of film there and some of my best photos were taken in that city. I recall that the parks were lovely there. The fine arts museum had some nice impressionist style paintings by eastern european painters whose names I've forgotten. The dinar also went a long way back then and I ate quite well there compared to most of the other countries I visited.

So your saying I'm probably better off being happy with my SMC Tak 28 f3.5 then.. and that's fine by me.. I love it! I'm just itching to play with this 50 f1.7 sitting right here in front of me.. 2 more days.

Wow bokeh from a wide angle, now that's cool
Here's a shot with the SMC Takumar 50mm, wide open at 1.4. I find the colours very appealing.
