Now THAT is why dusk is called the golden hour. Nice pictures, nice view. I understand why you wanted to just sit and watch the show.
You are correct - it is THAT Pentax Digital Camera Utility that you find so hard to use! I rarely use it, but that picture needed a little more processing than I could do with my normal workflow - using Faststone Image Viewer. I have found that changing exposure and white balance works really well with PDCU, and the noise reduction is fairly good.

But it was a choice - either spend the twenty mins to dusk snapping away for the "best shot" or simply stand and appreciate. The colours later went to a deep pink and indigo. Soooo pretty!
