Thought about it. Rejected it.

Which bit did you have in mind to cut? The top or the bottom?

I haven't tried it but my quick impression was a little from the top and a bigger slice from the bottom. If you've tried it and rejected it, then it is probably good as is. I know you have a good eye for an image.

Cheers, Kris.

Make sure you always use a leash on this dog. If someone sees it on the street without one, for sure is going to be stolen. It iis a beauty.
Regarding the lens, I gave a 10 in my evaluation of the SMC Tak 105/2.8, and an 11 to the preset and auto versions.

Excuse me for posting so much in such a short time, but being unable to post photos on a more regular basis has unfortunately become the norm for me due to my work.

Henry's a good-looking dog for sure - very photogenic! What is the blue writing he's got in that photo?

Thanks Paul! That's Henry's tattoo from the days in the pen (SPCA) where he was born... I think he has a chip as well...

K10D + Super Takumar 55/1.8 + m42 25mm Extension Tube

This is my first try using extenstion tubes and handheld. The circumference of my tubes is exactly the same as the adapter and does not really tighten up very well against the body, slightly loose, jiggly. Probably better off using K-mount extension tubes and an adapter for m42 lenses...

Last one for a bit I don't ever remember a Winter that has been so mild, maybe too mild, found this walking around yard, first and only one so far. Hope this is a GOOD omen of things to come.

Here is one for Henry the Bonjovi, also rescued from the pen. His name is Vittorio Corleone, but we call him Vito:

It was warm (in the 50s F), so I grilled some pork chops for supper...

Mmmmm - Good!

Looking good! Nice use of your Tak 35 on those chops - wish I could grab one off my monitor!

Should I come and eat one for you? I will tell you whether it was any good! It is hard to make food pictures look good. Nice image.
