nice shot's of the dart. they really covered the gamut with the dart, my mom drove one as well (obviously not like this one), and later in the mid 70's when i was racing my goat i used to race darts pretty regularly (my goat was running 550hp - it was my daily driver too lol @ about 3 miles to the gallon when i had the regular carb setup. 1 mile to the gallon when i changed it up for racing to dual holly 850's

I have purchased hoods (not original) for my 28mm and 35mm for $6 and $9 made in China that are wonderful. Go to the Bay and search for SQUARE OR RECTANGULAR HOODS. You will not regret it. I guess you care for funcionality over looks and traditions (you can always wait for the original to show up one day for the collection.)

I always wanted to buy an inexpensive plain-manual film camera that will work with all my TAKs.
Finally, there was one listed on ebay ( Asahi Pentax SP ) for $25.00.
Seller claims all is in working condition and kept in good shape.

I looked at the instructions for that camera on line and found the following:

Attachment 127578
from instructions

Attachment 127579
newly purchased SP

If I can not use the 50/1.4 on the SP what about the 28/3.5 and the 35/2

I am planning to shoot color negatives and/or slides, can anybody
recommend a good scanning facility and approximately the cost to
scan one roll of 36 exp.

Thanks

Surely that's to do with the rear element hitting the mirror. I use the 50mm 1.4 on my K10 without any problems.. I actually have those camera bodies here.. I'll throw the lens on and see what happens

#EDIT. the 50mm 1.4 is actually on the body of the SP :P I can get to infinity fine. My SP has the same colouring as yours. with serial (3953260) "shrugs" Come to think of it i bought the SP because it came with the 50mm 1.4 :P

To be super careful tho. Just measure the distance from the camera thread to the front of the mirror, then compare it to the distance on the lens when its wound right in at infinity.

My SP 500 came with a Super Takumar 50mm f/1.4 when bought new.
I've used it for 30+ years. I think you're safe.

I finally scored a SMC Takumar 85mm 1.8 lens to round my small collection. Just went out to test it. I already love it.

Congrats. This is really a sharp shot. I have this lens (same model and version) and have not been able to use it in a close up. I always try the landscape. I am going to try. Thanks
