(Also let me know what you think about the handle in the foreground)
The beautiful model has such a strong presence in the picture, I did not notice the handle when I first saw the image. I was drawn immediately to her face.

I love the soft colours and wonderful light.

If you wish to remove the handle, you might try to crop the image to just the right edge of the handle. Perhaps try a square composition. But, I like it the way it is - the handle blends in.

You were robbed... send it to me and I'll take the hit for you!

Awesome lens and nice set of quick samples to show it's abilities.

I made a thread but not a lot of ppl replied so im posting here:

A couple days ago I bought a 200mm f3.5 Takumar from Ebay for $90, and the lens is in amazing condition cosmetically and optically, the only this that has been bugging me is that the focus ring kind of wobbles a little and when i push it up with my hand it moves like 1mm...it feels like its a bit loose, and i was wondering if that was usual for these taks..if not, how can i fix it? Other than that it moves smoothly and there are no other issues.

Not usual, take it to Eric. For $60 plus shipping, he will clean and adjust.

All those Taks look really good on the K3. Also, the old cheap AF lenses are also good on the K3, they behave like real pros.

And, not only do they look nice, they are so much easier to use than on K100DS. The viewfinder is SO MUCH better. Got mine last week and took it Singapore for a workout. In the Botanic Gardens I saw a lady reading a book at 100m and 300/4 STak could read the title of the book. Sorry, could not read the book itself.

Here is a series of three photographs I took for use as wall decorations in our office at work (Chemistry department). For display, I had each of these three photographs printed on 18" x 24" frameless canvas and hung on the wall as you see here. Taken with my Pentax K100DS, Super-Takumar 35mm f2, Pentax AF280T flash bounced off a white board, ISO400, processed in Sagelight Image Editor + Topaz B&W Effects 2 (from RAW files).

This was a fun project.

P.S. I intended to use my H1A and Tri-X film to do this project, but decided to use the K100DS to test the lighting of my setup. I liked how the digital version came out so never got so far as to load film in the H1A!

What a great idea and very well done. Lighting is certainly a challenge with convex reflective surfaces -- looks great.
