Looks like bad fungus to me. Beware, as cleaning it up may not completely solve the problem if the fungus has etched the glass or coatings. I would send it back.
Alright..guess i'll send it back just to be safe..hopefully another one will pop up around that price

Here's the Super-Takumar 35mm 3.5 on the K20D. Pretty good flare resistance even for non-SMC.

This is a frozen slough. There's a gazillion sloughs on the prairies and they provide wildlife habitat for lots of birds. There's far more ducks than people out here. Most of our rural roads are gravel and at some point intersect with or adjoin a slough. When people drive too fast on gravel they can sometimes lose control and experience a 'single vehicle rollover' which often involves landing in a slough. Often upside down, sometimes resulting in a drowning. Happens at least once every summer.

This was taken Monday. As you can see, spring has not yet arrived. <sigh>

I really like the second one--the reflections on the ice lead your eye across the river, through the forest, and up to the sky.

Hello, everybody.

I just wanted to let the Takumar fans know that there's a Super Tak 150 f4.0 lens for sale at Adorama.
Used Pentax Super-takumar 150 4.0 Screw Lens

I bought one a year ago, and love it.

There are other Taks there too.

Check them out.

Good luck.

Mike

Seems somewhat reasonably priced; too bad shipping is so expensive. Cheapest to Canada is $35. Hopefully it'll be a bit more reasonable for American Takumar fans.

If anyone's looking for an Super Tak 85 f/1.8, here's your chance. Price is pretty low for these days.

Pentax 85 F1 9 Super Takumar for Canon | eBay
I'd snap it up if I didn't have an FA 77 already.

Great color rendition, and of course "Tak-sharp".
