Here's the Super-Takumar 35mm 3.5 on the K20D. Pretty good flare resistance even for non-SMC.
This is a frozen slough. There's a gazillion sloughs on the prairies and they provide wildlife habitat for lots of birds. There's far more ducks than people out here. Most of our rural roads are gravel and at some point intersect with or adjoin a slough. When people drive too fast on gravel they can sometimes lose control and experience a 'single vehicle rollover' which often involves landing in a slough. Often upside down, sometimes resulting in a drowning. Happens at least once every summer.
This was taken Monday. As you can see, spring has not yet arrived. <sigh>
