Beautiful gun, it looks like the Belgium Famage!
Yeah, this thing is a pretty good looking gun, especially since most of these rifles were made after the Russians stopped caring much about quality...

You have dust all over your sensor.

Like you said, the contrast between the soft, blue hour light behind you and the harsh strobe is a bit much. It makes it look like you're in a studio with a backdrop. Otherwise, great concept. I like.
I completely forgot about dust. Been shooting film too long. I'll have to take care of that.

And yeah, I'm still trying to nail down lighting ratios and hard vs soft light. I always seem to want to go a bit too contrasty. I might have to try to re-approach this shot.

SMC Takumar 35mm f2

Photo taken with the 35mm f2 lens at f2.8 in late afternoon light. Slight adjustments were made to brightness and contrast.

You may want to keep looking! You've hit a gold mine! Great shot and feel to that. Wow.

Trying out my new-to-me Super Tak 50 1.4

Wide Open...still learning how to get precise when using manual focussing! Focus peaking was used here.

At a local state park

Here is my precious! It was not cheap I don't have samples to show yet.
Everything is there: the IR sign, A/M, the rear element bump. For now I will use it on a Nikon with the adapter without glass, so I can only shoot flowers because of the short focusing distance.

That's nice. I like the effect with the water. Evokes good memories for me. I like the image.

No fine art photography, just a small test with the Takumar 50mm 1.4. The net is 100% crop of the top part.
