Nice one! The 50mm/F4 Macro is one of my favourite Taks on APSC.

Can I ask a question of other Tak users using later bodies than my K10d please. Is the metering improved with M42 glass on the later bodies. The metering certainly isn't the K10d's strong point with manual lenses.

I don't have any problem with exposure on my K-3, K20D, K10D, or previously owned K-5 with any of my Taks. YMMV.

On the K20d in A mode I get mixed results particularly when shooting wide open. Always underexposed wide open but not uniformly from lens to lens.
When stopped down I find there is a tendency to over expose almost a full stop. Then I set the compensation accordingly which allows the camera to meter consistently until I switch back to wide open.

It is a while since I posted any pictures here. Here a few from today. The day after the typhoon in Tainan City, southern Taiwan. The weather was relatively cool, the air clear and the colours in that wonderful post rain form.

1. K3, ISO 100, ST 55/1.8, 1/320
2. K3, ISO 100, ST 55/1.8, 1/250
3. K3, ISO 100, ST 55/1.8, 1/3200
4. K3, ISO 1600, ST 35/2, 1/80

Sorry fr the awkward sizes of these. Really struggling with my first ever use of iPhoto for editing the jpgs. Only s/w I have at the moment, until my stuff arrives and reunited with me when I will get my install disc of the SilkyPix that came with the K3.

I just thought to overcome my problem of not havingthe Pentax SilkyPix with me I would download it. Found the Pentax site but it turns out it is only an update version so I am still no better off.

Is there somewhere I can download a full install copy based on me giving info such as serial number of my K-3 with which it was originally shipped?
