Very cool video.

I have no idea what he is talking about for 90% of it.
Yeah its like its own language working in the movie industry haha some of it transfers over to photography. Or at least the high end photography.

I had a mild amount of fun with this one.

This was an exercise in stacking, I took about 20 shots with a 135mm f3,5 Super Tak, (@f3.5 and focused to 1.5m) This gave a circle of confusion / depth of about 2cm. I panned across the scene and Viola! (he he musical pun) a faked larger format shot from an imaginary lens.

Same deal with these buildings

Click for Melbourne

This time, a 35mm f3.5 Super Tak and only about 8 images. Again, stacking is dumb when it comes to taking pics of things at the horizon. Just get that wider lens!

Jean, I think it's flat. Try brightening the image to give it more pop. Just my $0.02.

I've Decided to Jump In

I've been looking over the Lens Groups and realized that on the short list there are 15 I could be in. I have 8 Takumar lens that I can use in this group.

My small collection consists of the following:

Takumar 85-210mm f/1.4 - M42
Takumar 35mm F3.5 - (M42)
Takumar 55mm F2 - M42
Super Takumar 135mm f/2.5 M42
Super-Takumar 135mm F3.5
Super Takumar 200mm 1:4 (M42)
Tele-Takumar 300mm f/6.3~ (M42)
Takumar F Zoom 70-200mm f/4~5.6

Please let me know if any of the above are not allowed in this group.

So, I'll start with one I took the other day and put it in the wrong group.
